About Mbanwei
I am a certified teacher of English as Second Language (ESL) with more than 28 years of experience. During these years, I helped to nurture to maturity many learners of English, transforming them into effective users of the English Language. In addition to being a G.C.CE. Examiner, I also served as the Head of Department in a number of schools, where I coordinated the activities of all the teachers of the English Department. I also served as Vice Principal for more than ten years in G.H.S. Batibo and G.B.H.S. Mendong , Yaounde. As Vice Principal, I coordinated the pedagogy, methodology and discipline of teachers and promoted peer teaching among some 300 teachers in different schools in my area .I was also branch president of Cameroon English and Literature Teachers' Association ( CAMELTA), for Batibo and Widikum Sub Divisions , from 2002 to 2007. Since October 2021, I have been passionately involved in online teaching of English as a Second Language on platforms like Preply, Nativecamp, and onsite to private individuals and institutions. My interactive and lively approaches make my teaching enjoyable and memorable. I am confident that all my new learners , especially G.C. E. candidates, will remain grateful to God for being part of my English classes.
