About Makoge
Science becomes much easier when you understand it—not when you simply memorize it. I teach O Level Biology, O Level Chemistry, and A Level Chemistry with this principle at the heart of every lesson. My goal is to make science clear, engaging, and practical while helping students develop the confidence to tackle challenging questions independently. My lessons are tailored to each student's level, learning pace, and academic goals. I break down difficult concepts into simple, logical steps and use real-life examples, questioning, diagrams, and guided practice to make learning more effective and memorable. In O Level Biology, I help students understand key areas such as cells, human biology, nutrition, reproduction, genetics, ecology, and other core biological concepts. In O Level and A Level Chemistry, I cover concepts, chemical equations, calculations, reactions, organic and inorganic chemistry, and examination-style problem-solving, with lessons adapted to the demands of each level. A typical lesson combines a review of previous knowledge, introduction of the new concept, clear explanation, worked examples, and practice questions. I also identify areas where a student may be struggling and give them targeted support so that they can gradually become more independent. Students can expect a patient, supportive, and academically focused learning environment where questions are encouraged and mistakes are treated as part of learning. Whether a student needs help building strong foundations, catching up on difficult topics, preparing for O Level or A Level examinations, or aiming for excellent results, I am committed to helping them make meaningful progress. My goal is not simply to help students memorize enough to pass an exam. I want them to genuinely understand science, think critically, solve problems confidently, and leave each lesson knowing more than they did when they arrived.
