Fair play on Braabby: booking, cancellations and showing up ready

23 June 2026 4 min read

A live class only works when both sides show up prepared and on time. Our Class Charter sets out a few fair rules so every lesson counts.

You're in control of your schedule

On Braabby, you choose your teacher and book the times that suit you — learning fits your life, not the other way around. Joining a group class is always optional.

Cancellations, the fair way

Plans change, and that's fine. For a one-to-one lesson, cancel more than 24 hours ahead for a full refund, or 12–24 hours ahead and half your coins come back. For a group class, leave 12 hours or more before it starts and you're fully refunded — and if everyone leaves in good time, the class simply cancels. Under 12 hours, the teacher is paid for the time they held for you. If a teacher ever misses a confirmed class, every coin comes straight back to your balance.

Need a different time? Reschedule

For one-to-one lessons you can reschedule up to 24 hours before the start — pick a slot your teacher is free, or accept a new time they propose. Group classes keep their set time. Every lesson runs for 50 minutes, and the timer starts at the scheduled time whether or not you've joined yet.

Show up ready

Arrive a few minutes early, test your connection, and bring a question. The blackboard is saved after class for revision, so you can listen instead of frantically copying.

Respect earns rewards

Be on time, be kind, and keep learning on the platform. Consistency is noticed — and the students and teachers who play fair are the ones who get the most out of Braabby.
